Description

  • Embed with customers to understand their workflows, constraints, and data before writing code.
  • Run technical discovery to map the customer stack, data flows, integration points, and business rules.
  • Build and deploy production integrations, data pipelines, custom workflows, and tenant configurations.
  • Own the full integration lifecycle from initial API calls through stable production syncs.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers from onboarding through steady state.
  • Lead technically complex pre-sales conversations and proof-of-concept scoping.
  • Direct AI agents on customer-specific work, verify outputs, and reconcile results safely.
  • Document field learnings, escalate patterns to product and engineering, and advocate for generalized fixes.
  • Create deployment runbooks, integration templates, onboarding checklists, and other reusable assets.
  • Write specs, discovery questions, design docs, and handoff notes that enable future work.

Requirements

  • Customer-facing engineering experience with production solutions shipped inside a customer environment.
  • Strong full-stack range across frontend, backend, data, and infrastructure layers.
  • Experience integrating systems that were not designed to talk to each other.
  • Fluency orchestrating AI agents in parallel and verifying outputs adversarially in live-customer contexts.
  • Clear communication skills for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong systems debugging instinct and root-cause analysis across service boundaries.
  • Evidence-driven work style that verifies outcomes with real data, live payloads, or read-backs.
  • Comfort giving and receiving direct, blunt feedback.
  • Materials industry or adjacent vertical experience is preferred.
  • SAP / ERP depth, including RFC/BAPI, ABAP, and customer/order master data flows, is preferred.
  • Pre-sales or solutions engineering experience is preferred.
  • Experience with compliance contexts such as SOC 2, GDPR, and ROPA is preferred.
  • Experience building runbooks, onboarding checklists, or integration templates is preferred.
  • Multi-tenant or B2B enterprise experience is preferred.
