Description

  • Sell polymers within the designated territory.
  • Develop new accounts in line with VPA’s growth strategy.
  • Work closely with product management to achieve sales growth and profitability targets.
  • Track sales activity in VPA’s customer relationship management software.
  • Proactively pursue new and targeted accounts in the assigned region to drive sales growth.
  • Achieve annual sales plan objectives, including volume and profitability targets.
  • Take action and follow contingency plans to address expected sales plan shortfalls or gaps.
  • Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers to generate new business.
  • Make regular phone calls and in-person visits to existing and prospective customers.
  • Plan office time and travel efficiently to maximize effectiveness and control costs.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in the petrochemical, plastics, or rubber industry in sales or product development.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
  • Understanding of the customer base in the defined region.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
