Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to close and meet or exceed sales goals.
  • Develop and execute a territory sales plan.
  • Present the product online and in person to researchers, teaching faculty, and academic librarians.
  • Communicate proactively with clients and users through emails, calls, and in-person interactions.
  • Analyze trends and use data to prioritize sales activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver sales targets, team projects, and campaigns.
  • Attend tradeshows and support other marketing activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in EdTech, STEM Publishing, or SaaS.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in person and online.
  • Experience with Salesforce and platforms such as HubSpot.
  • Confidence in dealing with clients and product users.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented, and willing to learn new skills.
  • Proven ability to stay resilient and overcome challenges.
