Description

  • Build, deploy, maintain, and optimize secure, scalable AWS infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, and databases.
  • Support Salesforce-based applications, workflows, integrations, and data access in collaboration with platform and development teams.
  • Maintain APIs, data ingestion, and ETL processes connecting Salesforce, AWS-hosted applications, and other systems.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with testing, security checks, and deployment validation.
  • Develop infrastructure-as-code configurations for repeatable infrastructure provisioning and deployments.
  • Support deployment and operations of containerized applications and microservices.
  • Monitor logging, performance, availability, and resource utilization; troubleshoot infrastructure, application, API, integration, and database issues.
  • Apply access controls, encryption, secure networking, secrets management, and applicable federal compliance practices.
  • Create automated infrastructure and deployment tests, validate changes, and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, technical reviews, client-facing collaboration, and occasional customer interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of professional experience in cloud engineering, platform engineering, DevSecOps, data engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Hands-on Salesforce platform experience, including data models, permissions, workflows, and integrations.
  • Hands-on AWS experience across compute, storage, networking, security, and database services.
  • Experience supporting or troubleshooting APIs and data exchanges between Salesforce and other systems.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
  • Working knowledge of Docker and container orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS.
  • Experience automating operations with Python, Bash, Java, or similar languages, plus knowledge of SQL, relational databases, data modeling, and ETL.
  • Understanding of cloud security, monitoring, logging, Git, testing, and Agile delivery practices.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen residing in the U.S. for at least 3 of the past 5 years, able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust determination, and pass a background investigation including a credit check.
  • Must work remotely from within the U.S. and be available for collaboration during Eastern Time hours.
  • Preferred: experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, RDS, DynamoDB, ECS, or EKS; Salesforce-to-AWS integrations; federal security frameworks; DHS or other federal work; or a favorable Public Trust determination.
