Description

  • Lead and coach a team of Data Analysts, setting standards for data quality, mentorship, and continuous improvement.
  • Own regional data strategy and data quality across Citymapper’s web and mobile products.
  • Partner with product, engineering, and operations teams to support product development, delivery, customer success, and user growth.
  • Collaborate with engineers to improve tools, automate workflows, and build scalable systems.
  • Turn complex datasets into actionable insights that inform decisions and product improvements.
  • Remove blockers and create the conditions for the team to do their best work.
  • Work across product, engineering, and commercial functions to keep priorities aligned with business needs.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience in an operational, technical, or generalist role.
  • Experience as a people leader with the ability to motivate, give feedback, and build a strong team environment.
  • Comfort working with data and product work and learning new topics quickly.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to organize multiple moving parts and manage details.
  • Clear communication skills and the ability to build trust across functions.
  • Experience working across functions and handling competing priorities.
  • Bonus: experience with data, Python, and/or common transit data formats such as GTFS, TransXChange, SIRI, or HAFAS.
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn are highly valued.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $85,000-$115,000.
