Description

  • Own the customer lifecycle from onboarding through long-term adoption, success, and expansion.
  • Build strong customer relationships and serve as a trusted advisor on Versapay solutions and business objectives.
  • Facilitate training, enablement sessions, regular customer check-ins, and Executive Business Reviews.
  • Develop and maintain Strategic Account Plans with retention, growth, KPI, and success measures.
  • Partner with Sales, Professional Services, Product, and other teams to align customer needs with business strategy.
  • Advocate for customers and help influence product development for integrations and new features.
  • Monitor customer issues and escalations, provide status updates, and drive resolution with Customer Care and cross-functional teams.
  • Apply payments and merchant-services expertise to advise on acceptance flows, integrations, pricing/interchange, underwriting, disputes, PCI, and security requirements.
  • Identify recurring customer problems and propose scalable improvements to the customer journey.
  • Use customer and operational trends to anticipate churn risk and future attrition.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a SaaS-based Customer Success role with renewal and expansion responsibility.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer success or customer sales role in a SaaS-based company.
  • B2B merchant services or payment-processing experience.
  • Strong knowledge of merchant services/payment processing models, including gateway, processor, acquirer, payfac, and ISO structures.
  • Deep understanding of disputes/chargebacks, settlement/funding, pricing/interchange, underwriting/risk, and reconciliation.
  • Experience advising customers’ CFOs and AR/Cash Application leaders.
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience supporting ERP-integrated AR and payments workflows is preferred.
  • Familiarity with NetSuite, Sage Intacct, or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
  • Knowledge of payment optimization tactics such as CEDP, Level 3 processing, and surcharging is a plus.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Finance, Underwriting, Risk, and Legal on complex or regulated customer scenarios is preferred.

Benefits

  • Remote work in the United States.
  • Base salary of $80,000 to $90,000 per year.
  • Total on-target earnings of $105,000 to $115,000 per year.
