Description

  • Build scalable distributed systems that handle high traffic from hundreds of thousands of devices deployed worldwide.
  • Work with high-concurrency key-value storage systems such as Redis and DynamoDB.
  • Work with Postgres relational databases.
  • Use Kafka and SQS for logging and message passing.
  • Deploy services with Terraform and Kubernetes.
  • Develop large-scale systems for remote product configuration and interaction.
  • Define and improve low-latency, high-throughput, high-reliability microservice architectures.
  • Design and develop features that incorporate computer vision.
  • Design clean APIs and implement them in Python and/or Go.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of backend engineering experience in a production environment.
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or a similar technical field.
  • Experience developing and launching products.
  • Working knowledge of Python and/or Go.
  • Comfort working in an agile team software development environment.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs.
  • Ability to read Python server code is a plus.
  • Experience with Python and/or Go is preferred.
  • Visa sponsorship is available for this role.
