Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain the Android SDK with a focus on performance, security, and usability.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers on SDK delivery.
  • Optimize compatibility and performance across low-end and high-end Android devices.
  • Implement CI/CD processes to improve development, testing, and release workflows.
  • Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement.
  • Stay current with industry trends and integrate best practices and emerging technologies into the SDK.
  • Identify and resolve bottlenecks to improve reliability and stability.
  • Contribute to the strategic direction of Android development at Veriff.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Senior Android Developer building and maintaining high-quality Android SDKs or applications.
  • Strong expertise in Android frameworks, Kotlin, and Java.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs into Android applications.
  • Experience with Android testing frameworks and processes, including unit, integration, and performance tests.
  • Solid understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience optimizing performance across a variety of devices.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies, Scrum, or Kanban is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools is preferred.
  • Experience with iOS or cross-platform frameworks such as React Native or Flutter is preferred.
  • Experience with mobile accessibility and inclusive design practices is preferred.
