Description

  • Lead the implementation of an AI-enabled test automation strategy across unit, service, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Build and maintain automated test coverage for features and releases.
  • Collaborate with product engineering teams to develop and maintain test tools and automation frameworks.
  • Write, execute, and validate product code and automated tests.
  • Participate in design reviews to architect testable, fault-tolerant systems and improve modularity and testability.
  • Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines in partnership with the CI/CD team.
  • Improve existing automation frameworks to support new functionality and increase quality and efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot test failures, isolate issues, verify bug fixes, and debug defects found during and after release.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product management, development, and other QE teams in a fast-paced release environment.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of industry experience in software testing and automation.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of at least one programming language such as Kotlin or Java.
  • Strong scripting skills.
  • Strong knowledge of test automation methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Espresso.
  • Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Buildkite, Spinnaker, or Jenkins.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience solving ambiguous problems and driving integrations across multiple teams with significant impact.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) is essential.
