Description

  • Own and grow Veracyte’s diagnostic business across the assigned territory, with direct responsibility for sales revenue.
  • Lead commercial activities for the nCounter diagnostic platform, in vitro diagnostic assays, and Prosigna launches in Iberia and France.
  • Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for key private centers and academic hospitals, including reimbursement efforts with market access teams.
  • Create and manage the commercial plan for the territory in collaboration with the Regional Country Manager and medical team.
  • Manage tender processes within the country scope and identify business development opportunities.
  • Drive demand generation and market development through evidence-based selling to oncologists, pathologists, and senior decision-makers.
  • Plan and execute marketing activities such as congresses, seminars, and trade shows in alignment with regional and global strategy, budget, and compliance requirements.
  • Monitor performance against goals, communicate progress and issues with the line manager, and operate with accountability for results.
  • Collaborate with marketing, medical, and general management teams to support regional and global commercial objectives.
  • Travel regularly across the assigned territory, with 30% to 40% travel required.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of commercial experience with revenue responsibility and a proven track record of launching oncology drugs and/or diagnostics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant scientific or business field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in sales and market development for oncology businesses in Iberia and France.
  • Experience launching a commercially successful drug, molecular diagnostic, or companion diagnostic in the oncology community is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of the diagnostic market in the region.
  • Specific experience in products or services used in the diagnosis or treatment of breast and/or prostate cancer.
  • Native of or resident in the territory region, with strong affinity for the country, its culture, and its people.
  • Strong communication, influencing, and convincing skills with oncologists, pathologists, clinicians, and KOLs.
  • Proven ability to negotiate and close deals with hospitals and health authorities.
  • Scientific background strongly preferred, such as biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, or medicine.
  • Commercial diagnostics or pharmaceutical experience is strongly preferred.
  • Portuguese is a plus, and the ideal candidate is located in Spain or France and speaks Spanish and/or French fluently.
