Description

  • Track and organize opportunities in the business development pipeline, including scheduling, version control, and deadline management.
  • Monitor procurement platforms for new and upcoming opportunities.
  • Maintain business development trackers, templates, and content libraries to improve submission speed and consistency.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, timelines, and deliverables for proposal development.
  • Assist with formatting, editing, and assembling proposals and supporting documents.
  • Research agencies, competitors, and partners to support positioning and proposal strategy.
  • Support cross-team communication and collaboration during fast-paced proposal submissions.
  • Archive past proposals, update boilerplate content, and help develop case studies and impact stories.
  • Track key business development metrics such as win rates and submission volume and generate reports.
  • Support proposal management and take the lead on projects as needed.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in business development coordination, project management, consulting, or a related field.
  • Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced consulting environment.
  • Proficiency reading and evaluating RFPs to determine relevance.
  • Experience maintaining proposal or project organization, including shared materials and CRM updates.
  • Strong attention to detail when reviewing proposal drafts for compliance with RFP requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and writing/editing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and proposal collaboration tools such as SharePoint, Smartsheet, or Zoho.
  • Familiarity with public health or government procurement is preferred.
  • Proposal, RFP, grant, and/or contracting experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with state and local governments is preferred.
  • Willingness to take initiative, maintain a growth mindset, and align with BME’s shared values.
  • Able to work from a home office in the U.S. and travel occasionally, up to 10%.

  • Salary range of $79,040 to $89,440 annually.
