Description

  • Build, mentor, and actively manage the global Life Sciences sales team.
  • Lead consultative sales efforts to win new business, grow strategic accounts, and close opportunities against revenue targets.
  • Leverage personal and professional networks in pharma and biotech to generate new logos and partnerships.
  • Support sales presentations and coordinate internal subject matter expert involvement to advance deals.
  • Set and maintain forecasting, pipeline management, and customer health planning standards.
  • Monitor market, team, and individual performance to identify opportunities and improve sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leaders on corporate messaging, pricing strategies, and business models.
  • Develop strong relationships with key customers and thought leaders and serve as an executive sponsor for accounts.
  • Represent Velsera externally at customer meetings, networking events, and conferences to expand the company’s presence.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of proven leadership experience selling SaaS solutions within life sciences.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical, health technology, or genomics industry is required.
  • 3+ years of team development and management experience.
  • Advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience scaling global sales teams across multiple continents.
  • Track record of implementing successful sales processes in high-growth environments.
  • Experience leading and securing multi-million-dollar agreements and achieving or exceeding top-line targets.
  • Robust network of contacts and decision makers in relevant industries.
  • High self-motivation and a demonstrated record of success.
  • Ability to inspire trust, coach teams, and work collaboratively with diverse individuals and organizations.
