Description

  • Create and execute short- and long-term sales pipelines to capture new and existing opportunities within the region.
  • Identify and pursue new logo prospects and develop existing customer relationships to generate new revenue opportunities.
  • Engage senior decision makers, including CIOs and CISOs, as well as customer influencers, end users, and ecosystem partners.
  • Work closely with executive leadership, marketing, channels, strategic alliances, business development, and sales engineering to build and execute territory strategy.
  • Review market opportunities and assess competitive and technology requirements to capitalize on regional and industry trends.
  • Manage relationships and communications with external customers, internal stakeholders, and partners to support successful deal execution.
  • Align sales objectives with corporate strategy and financial performance measures.
  • Provide market feedback to product and marketing teams to support continued innovation.
  • Forecast sales performance, track key metrics, and report progress to senior leadership.

Requirements

  • 5-10 years of cybersecurity industry experience in a technical sales role, preferably with deep expertise in networking security.
  • Strong understanding of security and network offerings.
  • Track record of managing a large territory, including prospecting, partner ecosystem leverage, closing new logos, and expanding customers through a land-and-expand strategy.
  • Demonstrated success building and maintaining strong industry and professional relationships, preferably at the CIO and CISO level.
  • Ability to manage complex sales with multiple stakeholders and consensus-based decision making.
  • Ability to drive customers to adopt new ways of doing things.
  • Exemplary verbal and written communication skills, with strong presentation skills and the ability to articulate value proposition and TCO.
  • Strong sales qualification, pursuit, and closing skills; MEDDIC training is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver measurable results in a fast-paced, less structured, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to travel within the territory as needed to support sales objectives.
  • Charlotte or Atlanta location preferred, though other locations will be considered.
