Description

  • Develop and implement strategies to increase average deal size through needs assessment, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-suite stakeholders throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Conduct face-to-face client meetings to understand needs and present solutions.
  • Sell Veeam software solutions and work with Alliance Partner solutions and ecosystem offerings.
  • Negotiate pricing and business terms with large commercial enterprises based on value, TCO, and ROI.
  • Maintain strong relationships with channel partners to identify new sales opportunities.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer business needs and the competitive landscape.
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and consistent pipeline development.
  • Develop and manage key account relationship maps for existing customers and target accounts.
  • Prepare concise reports, proposals, and executive-level documentation.
  • Assess market needs and follow a defined selling process.
  • Advocate for both the customer and Veeam within the enterprise organization.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of sales experience with a proven track record in mid-market and large commercial accounts.
  • Experience in the software, security, and storage industry with C-level relationships.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Ability to prospect and build pipeline independently.
  • Experience introducing new product solutions and services.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate prospect challenges into new business opportunities.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of Salesforce.com.
  • Ability to use data intelligence tools for account relationship and tree building.
  • Knowledge of the channel partner ecosystem is highly desired.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time.
  • Must reside in the eastern U.S., preferably in a major metro area within an hour of a major airport.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Unassailable ethical and moral standards.
