Description

  • Manage partner relationships in a highly leveraged, matrixed environment.
  • Reinforce the partner’s sales and technical knowledge.
  • Build and maintain lasting relationships with key contacts within partner accounts.
  • Develop, negotiate, and track joint action plans with partners.
  • Discover, update, and maintain partner pipeline information.
  • Keep partners informed about Veeam news and promotions.
  • Check compliance with ProPartner Program requirements and drive partner level upgrades.
  • Provide support to partners with licensing and technical issues related to Veeam products.
  • Support qualified prospects and customers with follow-up, product information, quotations, and closures.
  • Provide forecasting and account opportunity updates as needed.
  • Update and maintain partner accounts in Veeam’s CRM system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; a combination of education and experience will be considered.
  • Proven sales and partner/account management experience with a strong track record of developing and growing strategic accounts.
  • Business development and deal negotiation experience is required.
  • Solid understanding of virtualization technologies, specifically VMware and Microsoft solution sets.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently under pressure.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and act as a high-energy, motivated self-starter.
  • Ability to adapt to changing roles and responsibilities as needed.
  • Strong team-player mindset focused on execution.
