Description

  • Engage with end users and Veeam partners to translate business objectives into technical requirements.
  • Create content and deliver presentations and product demonstrations to decision makers virtually and in person.
  • Manage the technical evaluation stage of the sales process as a technical advisor for Veeam solutions.
  • Provide pre-sales support to customers through proof of concepts, hands-on labs, and bootcamps.
  • Record and maintain accurate customer and partner engagement details in Salesforce.
  • Work with value-added resellers on training, joint meetings, and relationship building.
  • Support lead generation activities such as events, webinars, and user groups.
  • Collaborate with Product Development and Engineering to share customer feedback.
  • Participate in cross-functional initiatives that improve efficiency and deliver long-term value, such as TCO and ROI calculators and hands-on labs.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in a pre-sales role in IT.
  • Prior experience using or deploying Veeam solutions.
  • VMCE certification is highly preferred; VMCE and VMCA certifications can be obtained after joining.
  • Deep experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, and Nutanix AHV, plus SANs, hyper-converged storage, and networking.
  • Working knowledge of public cloud platforms including Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform.
  • Working knowledge of SaaS platforms such as Microsoft Office 365 and Salesforce.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfort presenting to groups both remotely and in person.
  • Availability to travel across the Nordics, with travel up to 50% within the region.
  • Self-starter who can learn new technologies quickly and work in a fast-paced environment where responsibilities change rapidly.
  • Permanent location outside Norway may make an applicant ineligible for this position.
