Description

  • Design, develop, and architect core infrastructure for the platform.
  • Build reliable, secure, performant, and fully automated deployment pipelines.
  • Monitor platform performance and respond to urgent production issues.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to monitor and act on infrastructure alerts.
  • Integrate new technologies into the back-end cloud infrastructure.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and adopt them where they add value.
  • Ensure the framework and products meet established design, implementation, and quality goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of software development experience, including work with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Experience writing infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with CI tools such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with configuration management, network request routing, blue/green or canary deployments, and in-service software upgrades.
  • Development experience with Python or Golang.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Wavefront, or Zabbix.
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Bash scripting.
  • Experience with SQL databases such as Postgres and NoSQL technologies such as MongoDB or Elasticsearch.
  • Knowledge of performance tuning, profiling, and software metrics tools.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • High energy, teamwork, a can-do attitude, and willingness to learn new technologies.
