Description

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using services such as Lambda, ECS, and ECR.
  • Investigate, monitor, and support the decommissioning of legacy Windows Server environments.
  • Manage Windows Services and IIS-based applications, including .NET workloads.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Automate application build and deployment processes across development, testing, and production environments.
  • Use Terraform to provision and maintain infrastructure as code.
  • Build and support internal platforms and tooling that enable development teams.
  • Implement monitoring and observability solutions to improve reliability and performance.
  • Analyze system performance and resolve bottlenecks across the platform.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams in an agile environment.
  • Implement security best practices and support compliance-related efforts.
  • Maintain clear documentation for infrastructure, processes, and tools.
  • Share knowledge and mentor junior team members to support continuous learning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role within software organizations.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud migration projects.
  • Mandatory strong experience in Windows system administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Servers 2012 and 2022, Windows Services, and IIS.
  • Experience supporting and deploying .NET-based applications.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting experience.
  • Extensive experience with CI/CD tools, particularly Bitbucket Pipelines.
  • Strong proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
  • Solid knowledge of Atlassian tools, including JIRA, Confluence, and Bitbucket.
  • Practical experience with containerization, especially Docker.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work autonomously with minimal direction.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills, including technical documentation.
  • Experience with serverless architectures and event-driven systems is preferred.
  • Exposure to platform engineering or internal developer platforms is preferred.
  • Experience with security and code quality tools such as Snyk and SonarQube is preferred.
  • AWS certifications, or active preparation toward them, are preferred.
  • AWS Certified DevOps Engineer Professional, AWS Certified Security Specialty, or AWS SysOps Administrator Associate certifications are preferred.
