Description

  • Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure across AWS environments, with Azure involvement where needed for Copilot integration.
  • Write, own, and refactor Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for both greenfield builds and existing systems.
  • Run and support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes across multi-region environments.
  • Own observability, including logging, metrics, dashboards, reliability targets, and operational runbooks.
  • Engineer identity and authentication solutions, including IAM policies, Entra ID, OAuth/OIDC, SSO, Okta, and token management.
  • Debug and resolve production issues involving API failures, auth loops, rate limits, model configuration problems, SDK bugs, and capacity constraints.
  • Build reusable tooling and infrastructure to support data scientists and engineers.
  • Support the broader data engineering team with DevOps expertise.
  • Document infrastructure, systems, and processes clearly and thoroughly.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in IT, including 5+ years in a DevOps/Cloud role.
  • Deep AWS expertise, including IAM, EC2, S3, EKS, and related services.
  • Azure familiarity for Copilot-adjacent work.
  • Strong Terraform experience with end-to-end ownership of Infrastructure as Code.
  • Kubernetes experience setting up, scaling, and operating clusters.
  • Proficiency with Docker.
  • Strong Python and Bash skills.
  • Experience with identity and access technologies such as IAM, Entra ID, OAuth/OIDC, SSO, Okta, and Active Directory.
  • Observability and SRE mindset with experience writing runbooks and owning reliability.
  • Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • C1+ English, both written and spoken.
  • Experience with data pipeline tools such as Airflow, Snowflake, Redshift, and Athena is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Artifactory or similar repository managers is a plus.
  • Experience in secure corporate networking environments, including proxies and firewalls, is a plus.
  • Experience with the Python data stack, including Pandas, NumPy, and SQLAlchemy, and basic ML libraries is a plus.
  • Comfort working in both Windows and Unix environments is a plus.
