Description

  • Model datasets and schemas for consistency and easy access.
  • Design and implement data transformations and data marts.
  • Integrate third-party systems and external data sources into the data warehouse.
  • Build data flows for fetching, aggregation, and data modeling using batch pipelines.
  • Develop the data warehouse foundation that powers machine learning and data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of professional experience as a data engineer.
  • An undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a similar field.
  • Excellent spoken and written English at C1 level or higher.
  • Strong professional experience with Python and SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with dbt and Snowflake.
  • Experience building data pipelines with Airflow or similar solutions.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling techniques such as Kimball Star Schema.
  • Great analytical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to finding answers.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and strong customer service and troubleshooting skills.
  • Preferred: expertise in AWS or Azure.
  • Preferred: experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
  • Preferred: DevOps skills to automate deployment and streamline development.
  • Preferred: good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS EKS.
