Description

  • Monitor R&D cloud spend, track project cost impacts, and produce weekly cloud spend health reports.
  • Coordinate procurement activities by aligning with procurement, legal, security, and R&D teams and supporting vendor evaluation and approvals.
  • Track vendor products, renewals, usage, billing items, and budget-related matters to ensure alignment with agreements.
  • Coordinate development cycle planning by tracking team compositions, project assignments, and squad buildouts.
  • Maintain recurring reporting inputs and update source files used for weekly presentations and operational reporting.
  • Facilitate weekly meetings, distribute notes, and update tools such as slides and Monday.com or equivalent platforms.
  • Work with development leads to track innovation hours and maintain auditable records for financial reporting.
  • Intake and manage escalations from internal teams and update JIRA tickets for the R&D team.
  • Coordinate translation projects between R&D and vendors.
  • Support accessibility, security, and compliance activities, including reporting, training completion, and open-source tooling reviews.
  • Coordinate team events, including scheduling, catering, invitations, on-site execution, budgets, and payments.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of experience in operations, project coordination, or business analysis, preferably in a software or technology organization.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functionally across engineering, finance, legal, and vendor teams.
  • Experience working in or alongside Agile/Scrum development teams.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including management-level presentations and metric reports.
  • Experience with vendor management, procurement processes, and contract coordination.
  • Proficiency with JIRA for ticket tracking and project coordination.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, IBM, or Azure at a conceptual level for cost monitoring.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, charting, advanced formulas such as XLOOKUP and INDEX/MATCH, array formulas, and data analytics.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint for building clear, visually compelling presentations.
  • Experience with Monday.com, Asana, or equivalent project/work management platforms.
  • Working understanding of simple SQL SELECT queries for data retrieval and reporting.
  • Foundational understanding of software development lifecycle concepts, version control, release cycles, and how development, QA, and operations teams interact.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Ability to work within Eastern Standard Time business hours and adjust working hours as needed.
  • Experience with exploratory and regression testing, test planning, and defect logging, as referenced in the early success plan.
