Description

  • Design and develop core loops, gameplay systems, and rewards for casual and hybrid-casual games.
  • Own feature designs and drive them through production, release, and live-ops.
  • Collaborate with Design and Product Management to brainstorm, design, and iterate on features.
  • Work with UX and UI teams to create wireframes and user flows that support feature design.
  • Partner with developers to ensure designs are implemented in code according to specifications.
  • Develop post-launch and live-ops features by integrating events throughout the game lifecycle.
  • Pitch, communicate, and maintain a holistic view of game design to support production decisions and evaluate ideas.
  • Suggest solutions to complex design problems that improve the player experience.
  • Analyze competitor games by deconstructing their systems, loops, and features.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience designing features and building live-service games.
  • Strong experience with core-loop, gameplay, and systems design.
  • Proven success in gameplay design, game system balancing, and live-ops strategies.
  • Experience with game engines such as Unity is a plus.
  • Strong player-centric design mindset and empathy for players.
  • Understanding of design disciplines beyond gameplay and systems is a plus.
  • Passion for playing and making games.
  • Knowledge of current mobile gaming trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in spoken and written English is required.
