Description

  • Collaborate with recruiters and talent acquisition managers to understand current and forecasted staffing needs for PT and PTA roles.
  • Source active and passive candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, resume databases, professional associations, and social media.
  • Conduct research and market analysis to guide sourcing strategies and provide talent insights.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified PT and PTA candidates across multiple regions.
  • Conduct initial outreach and screening calls to assess candidate fit and interest.
  • Develop and maintain sourcing metrics and reporting to track strategy effectiveness.
  • Stay current on state licensure requirements and local physical therapy market trends.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, virtual events, and industry networking opportunities.
  • Partner with employer branding to create compelling outreach messaging and content.
  • Track candidate data and communications accurately in the ATS and CRM.
  • Travel occasionally for training or other work-related duties.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant recruiting or industry experience in lieu of formal education.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to build rapport and engage candidates professionally.
  • High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interest in data and technology.
  • 1–4 years of experience in recruiting, sourcing, sales, customer service, or a related role preferred.
  • 1 year of university or campus recruitment experience, such as DPT or PTA programs, preferred.
  • Experience recruiting for outpatient physical therapy, rehabilitation, or allied health services preferred.
  • Specialized recruiting certifications, such as Certified Healthcare Recruiter (CHR), preferred.
  • Experience with advanced sourcing techniques, recruiting and HR concepts, policies, and procedures.
  • Understanding of healthcare labor markets and workforce trends, or the ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficiency with recruitment software and applicant tracking systems.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
  • Sound judgment and the ability to anticipate needs and problems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
