Description

  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing engineering team of 10+ engineers.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that supports innovation and continuous learning.
  • Oversee the design, development, and implementation of cross-functional projects that drive business outcomes.
  • Ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of customer-facing products.
  • Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure teams to align with broader engineering goals.
  • Partner with Product, design, legal, operations, analytics, compliance, and Machine Learning teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to stakeholders.
  • Manage project timelines and resources to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Implement frameworks that improve execution and continuous delivery.
  • Drive architectural clarity and build systems that balance speed, reliability, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of experience, including 5 years of direct people management experience.
  • Proven success leading and scaling high-performing engineering teams.
  • Experience with workflow automation, data integrations, and event-driven architectures.
  • Experience partnering closely with Product and ML teams to deploy models at scale and build production-ready systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic thinking skills with a bias for action.
  • Experience building products in fintech, credit servicing, or customer support environments (preferred).
  • Background in lending, recoveries, or collections systems with complex policy and compliance requirements (preferred).
  • Experience developing senior engineers, tech leads, or emerging engineering leaders (preferred).
  • Experience managing critical production issues in regulated environments (preferred).

  • Base salary range of $195,300-$270,400 USD for U.S. remote roles.
