Description

  • Install and service access control and IP camera systems according to engineered drawings.
  • Independently install, program, troubleshoot, and maintain electronic devices, power supplies, and network components.
  • Program, terminate, and commission a wide range of access control products and platforms.
  • Identify and resolve issues that could negatively impact job productivity.
  • Complete all required job ticket paperwork accurately and thoroughly.
  • Communicate job activity and progress to the Project Manager or Field Supervisor in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the condition and cleanliness of any company-provided vehicle.
  • Attend required product and safety training.
  • Work effectively with subcontractors, customers, and other UT employees on site.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of field installation experience in a security environment.
  • Experience installing door hardware such as strikes and magnetic locks.
  • Experience in audio visual technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with UT employees and customers.
  • Strong work ethic, teamwork, and a customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
  • Self-starter with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Software House and Genetec certifications are a plus.
  • American Dynamics, Bosch, or other product certifications are a plus.
