Description

  • Identify and pursue key strategic opportunities over the long term.
  • Develop and execute capture plans for large commercial opportunities from qualification through closure.
  • Build technical solutions and win strategies with a matrixed team of functional and support specialists.
  • Gather, assess, and validate customer business and technical needs in collaboration with Business Development, Project Management, and Sales teams.
  • Work with account leads to define contact plans, technical solutions, and bid strategies.
  • Identify customer-wide IT parameters and constraints that affect solution design.
  • Assess competitors, market threats, and relative strengths to improve pursuit strategy.
  • Map company offerings to client requirements and identify gaps with strategies to close them.
  • Apply pricing and baseline pricing strategies to create competitive and compelling capture approaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience selling to commercial customers.
  • Proven track record of achieving revenue growth targets.
  • Experience in the physical security, managed services, or related industries.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Strong relationships within the commercial sector (preferred).
  • Deep understanding of the commercial procurement process.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Ability to navigate complex procurement cycles to win business.
