Description

  • Serve as the primary advisor to functional leaders on compensation and headcount planning, including pay programs and workforce investments.
  • Partner as part of the People "Trio" with Talent Strategy and Talent Acquisition to ensure alignment and communication.
  • Participate in functional leadership meetings, including staff meetings, offsites, and quarterly business reviews.
  • Advise on compensation decisions for hires, promotions, retention, reorganizations, and business transformations up to SVP level.
  • Interpret and apply job architecture, salary ranges, equity refresh frameworks, and recognition programs in a business-relevant way.
  • Monitor market trends, pay practices, promotion velocity, and recognition patterns, and recommend course corrections as needed.
  • Facilitate compensation cycles and off-cycle programs, including calibration and investment decisions.
  • Provide structured feedback to centralized Compensation and Benefits teams on program effectiveness, edge cases, and changing business needs.
  • Use support resources such as the Compensation Analyst for complex, project-based analyses.
  • Maintain current knowledge of Unity’s Total Rewards programs and relevant market developments through ongoing collaboration with centralized teams.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience in compensation, rewards, or total rewards consulting, preferably in a technology or high-growth environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to advise business leaders on compensation strategy, pay decisions, and market trends.
  • Familiarity with market pricing, incentive or bonus plan administration, or equity programs.
  • Ability to learn advanced compensation areas quickly and scale into them as needed.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency with spreadsheets.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with Workday, Pave, or similar systems preferred.
  • Sufficient knowledge of English for frequent professional verbal and written communication with global colleagues and partners.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
  • Work visa or immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
