Description

  • Lead the design and evolution of core talent systems across performance and growth, succession and talent planning, and leadership expectations and success profiles.
  • Design modern, business-relevant frameworks and tools that are simple, high-impact, and usable by leaders.
  • Partner with People Business Partners to provide guidance, resources, and implementation support for talent programs.
  • Gather feedback and insights from PBPs, leaders, and employees to continuously refine talent programs.
  • Define, track, and report key metrics to assess the effectiveness and outcomes of talent initiatives.
  • Evolve career pathways, development approaches, and experience-based growth models over time.
  • Contribute frameworks and insights to organizational effectiveness efforts and align talent systems with how the organization operates.
  • Use a strong program management approach to prioritize, sequence, and deliver multiple initiatives.
  • Translate talent strategy into clear narratives, tools, and practical guidance for stakeholders.
  • Influence senior leaders and PBPs without direct ownership of execution.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years of experience in talent management, organizational development, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience designing and evolving core talent programs such as performance, succession, and leadership frameworks.
  • Strong program management skills with the ability to prioritize and deliver across multiple initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to measure and improve the impact of talent strategies.
  • Experience partnering closely with People Business Partners or equivalent roles.
  • A strong point of view on modern talent practices with the ability to apply them pragmatically.
  • Exceptional influencing and communication skills, including executive-level storytelling.
  • Ability to operate in ambiguity and build iteratively.
  • Experience working with leadership development, career pathways, or organizational effectiveness is preferred.
  • Ability to work remotely anywhere in the United States or from the Oakland office.

  • New-hire base salary range of $150,300–$187,900 nationally, $162,600–$204,300 in Premium locations, and $176,800–$221,000 in Premium Plus locations.
