Description

  • Define product requirements with technical input based on customer needs, value, and measurability.
  • Improve workflows and usability across Unity Engine, Unity Hub, and related user touchpoints.
  • Partner closely with engineering teams to drive feature delivery, remove blockers, and align priorities.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in engineering, quality, design, documentation, and program management to define business goals, user needs, and technical requirements.
  • Prioritize product features and improvements using data and feedback from external partners and the broader development community.
  • Work with other product teams to ensure strong cross-product integration and reduce redundant feature code.
  • Facilitate customer feedback loops to iteratively refine the product and increase customer value.
  • Use hands-on testing and demos to validate requirements, verify delivered solutions, and present features to customers, users, and partners.

Requirements

  • Experience working in Unity, ideally as a game developer.
  • Prior hands-on experience in a game development role.
  • Technical expertise to evaluate complex technology stacks across multiple systems and platforms, including game engines, cloud services, and external APIs.
  • Proven experience and knowledge of UX flows and improving user engagement with software and UI.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for audiences ranging from engineers to executives.
  • Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
  • Strong skills in roadmap planning, feature prioritization, and stakeholder management.
  • Cross-functional collaboration capability to bring teams together around common goals and priorities.
  • Technical understanding of game engine architecture, feature development, and the developer experience (preferred).
  • High-performance programming experience with languages such as C# or C++ (preferred).
  • Storytelling and visual presentation abilities to communicate sophisticated topics clearly (preferred).
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% at peak times (preferred).
  • Sufficient knowledge of English for professional verbal and written communication with global colleagues and partners.
