Description

  • Work on a central infrastructure team and collaborate with engineers across multiple global offices and time zones.
  • Design, build, and evolve highly scalable multi-cloud and multi-region system solutions for new platform services and components.
  • Support and expand infrastructure for existing services while helping maintain always-on, zero-downtime production systems.
  • Triage and remediate security vulnerabilities as a security first responder.
  • Promote and apply best practices for infrastructure-as-code, automation, and observability.
  • Lead projects and initiatives while mentoring a growing team of DevOps developers.
  • Partner with senior engineering leaders and co-develop practical technical solutions for the organization.
  • Participate in periodic on-call rotations as needed.

Requirements

  • Experience orchestrating and managing remote physical datacenters and at least one public cloud provider (GCP, Azure, or AWS).
  • Experience with modern CI/CD workflows for build, deployment, and testing.
  • Experience using Windows, macOS, and Linux virtual machines, Linux containers, and Kubernetes.
  • Development experience with at least two programming languages from Bash, Python, Golang, JavaScript, or PowerShell.
  • Experience implementing infrastructure-as-code and automation tools such as Packer, Terraform, Ansible, or Helm.
  • Experience using and maintaining observability platforms for logging, metrics, monitoring, and tracing such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog, Honeycomb, or Logz.io.
  • Experience with the Unity or Unreal game engine or other game/3D development tools is a plus.
  • Familiarity with hosted virtualization platforms such as OpenStack, Orka, or verge.io is a plus.
  • Experience with network design and security management is a plus.
  • Experience managing large distributed storage systems and/or SANs is a plus.
  • Experience operating a customer-facing production environment or application is a plus.
  • Sufficient knowledge of English for frequent professional verbal and written communication with global colleagues and partners.
  • Relocation support is not available for this position.
  • Work visa or immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.
