Description

  • Design and build RAG and automation workflows within the company’s VPC environment.
  • Create integrations with engineering, communication, and knowledge-management systems such as Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Drive, and Git.
  • Develop AI-powered pipelines for code quality checks, ticket auto-classification, documentation updates, release notes, and meeting summaries.
  • Handle prompt engineering, model selection and routing, and workflow optimization.
  • Build evaluation and regression frameworks to prevent model-upgrade regressions in AI workflows.
  • Create lightweight dashboards for engineering leads to surface delivery patterns and bottlenecks.
  • Own initiatives end-to-end from scope and design through delivery, measurement, and iteration.
  • Work directly with the Head of AI to shape the company’s AI platform and production use cases.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of production experience with Python, including services, async work, API integrations, and clean, testable code.
  • Hands-on production experience with LLM APIs such as Anthropic Claude, OpenAI, and AWS Bedrock.
  • Strong understanding of RAG systems, including chunking, embeddings, hybrid search, re-ranking, grounding, and citations.
  • Experience with prompt engineering, structured outputs, and tool/function calling.
  • Experience with eval and regression frameworks such as Promptfoo, Ragas, LangSmith, or custom evaluation harnesses.
  • Experience with agentic patterns such as ReAct, function-calling loops, and fallbacks.
  • Experience with vector databases such as pgvector or Pinecone.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as n8n, Airflow, or custom orchestration systems.
  • Solid AWS fundamentals, including IAM, Lambda, S3, and CloudTrail, with confidence deploying independently inside VPC environments.
  • Experience with CI/CD and pipeline hooks using GitLab or GitHub, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
  • Basic SQL skills for analytical queries and metrics dashboards.
  • B2 English level.
  • Real REST integrations with 2–3+ APIs is a plus.
  • Experience with workflow orchestration tools is a plus.
  • Prompt evaluation tooling such as LangSmith is nice to have.
  • Experience with Docker is a plus.
  • RAG experience with embeddings and vector stores such as pgvector or Pinecone for knowledge base use cases is a plus.
