Description

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business with both new and existing customers.
  • Own the full sales cycle across an assigned Oklahoma territory and accounts.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Travel regularly to customer sites to assess needs, present solutions, and gather information for estimates and proposals.
  • Support turnkey projects, demonstrations, and related customer work to meet deadlines.
  • Attend product and sales skills seminars, and participate in local industry associations and trade shows.
  • Maintain deep knowledge of the water and wastewater industry and the company’s represented product lines.
  • Use CRM software to track prospecting and customer activities.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to explain products and services.
  • Work with customers and engineers to ensure equipment meets system requirements.
  • Coordinate with the sales team to understand customer demand and provide sales support.
  • Secure orders, support product delivery, and ensure product standards are met.
  • Build customer rapport, solve product-use problems, and recommend improved or more cost-effective solutions.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience selling manufactured equipment in the water and wastewater markets.
  • Experience working with consulting engineers and end users.
  • Must be located in Oklahoma and comfortable traveling throughout the state.
  • Infrequent out-of-state travel for training and sales meetings with manufacturers.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a results-based environment.
  • Mechanical or technical aptitude.
  • Previous experience using CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license.
