Description

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business with new and existing customers.
  • Own the full sales cycle across assigned territory and accounts.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
  • Travel regularly to conduct customer consultations and gather information for estimates and proposals.
  • Support turnkey projects, demonstrations, and other customer projects to meet deadlines.
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations to customers.
  • Work with customers and engineers to ensure equipment meets system requirements.
  • Use the CRM to track prospecting and customer activities.
  • Communicate with the sales team to understand customer demands and provide sales support.
  • Secure orders, maintain product standards, and ensure product delivery.
  • Build customer rapport and acceptance.
  • Help clients solve product usage problems and recommend improved products.

Requirements

  • 2 years of experience with manufactured equipment sales in the water and wastewater markets.
  • Experience working with consulting engineers and end users.
  • Willingness to travel throughout Oklahoma with infrequent out-of-state travel for training and sales meetings.
  • BS/BA in Engineering or Business, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong professional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a results-based environment.
  • Mechanical or technical aptitude.
  • Previous experience using CRM software.
  • Valid driver’s license.
