Description

  • Define or adapt the current architecture to meet customer needs.
  • Perform data analysis and ERD modeling, including applying Boyce–Codd Normal Form (BCNF).
  • Support technical teams integrating with the system.
  • Address technical issues raised during solution operation.
  • Design and develop architectural components and building blocks.
  • Participate in technical working groups, progress meetings, and user meetings.

Requirements

  • Master's degree plus 5 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor's degree plus 9 years of relevant experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in Oracle RDBMS architecture.
  • Strong expertise in relational databases, preferably Oracle 19c or newer, including database design and complex SQL.
  • Solid experience with PL/SQL, stored procedures, and deployment packages.
  • Proficiency in Git and CI/CD pipelines for databases, such as Liquibase.
  • Good knowledge of UNIX/Linux and shell scripting, including Bash or KornShell.
  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle tools such as Jira and basic knowledge of database administration.
  • Basic knowledge of application servers such as WebLogic or Tomcat.
  • Understanding of modern data engineering tools such as Parquet, Delta, Databricks, Synapse, or Fabric is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and HR domain knowledge would be an asset.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills with fluency in English.
