Description

  • Coordinate start dates, preboarding communications, paperwork completion, and issue resolution for new hires.
  • Initiate and monitor background checks, send E-Verify+ invitations, and complete I-9 verifications.
  • Create role-, office-, and department-specific onboarding agendas and serve as a new-hire contact during early employment.
  • Enter and verify new-hire pay, tax, employment, and employee data in ADP.
  • Maintain confidential employee records and cross-check BambooHR and ADP data to resolve discrepancies.
  • Verify termination data in the HRIS, coordinate equipment returns with IT, and record termination KPI data.
  • Verify bereavement leave and jury-duty requests in accordance with firm policy.
  • Prepare overtime reports, identify discrepancies, and support timecard updates and escalated time-and-attendance requests.
  • Track onboarding metrics and improve onboarding processes, checklists, and templates.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 3 years of human resources experience.
  • Working knowledge of onboarding, Form I-9, E-Verify, and background-check processes.
  • Experience using HRIS and payroll systems; ADP and BambooHR experience preferred.
  • Understanding of time-and-attendance policies and applicable state wage-and-hour laws, including overtime and meal and rest breaks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and discretion when handling confidential information.

  • $33 per hour, based on experience, with overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate as needed.
