Description

  • Design and implement robust cloud (AWS, GCP) and on‑premises data center architectures and automation solutions that integrate SAP landscapes.
  • Develop comprehensive system monitoring strategies tailored for data center environments, covering both physical and virtual infrastructure.
  • Select, deploy, and configure infrastructure and application monitoring tools (e.g., Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, CloudWatch, Nagios, Zabbix) and define SAP‑specific KPIs.
  • Architect and optimize containerized deployments using Kubernetes, including cluster management and networking for SAP workloads and hybrid deployments.
  • Innovate and design CI/CD pipeline strategies, including Git branching and delta merging capabilities.
  • Assess and optimize resource management practices across cloud and data center environments.
  • Collaborate closely with development, SAP, and infrastructure teams to troubleshoot issues, optimize deployments, and ensure seamless integration across hybrid environments.
  • Design and implement SAP migration/strategy to the cloud, ensuring optimal performance, security, and integration with data center components.
  • Act as a cloud, SAP, and monitoring evangelist by mentoring team members and producing clear design and documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role, with a portion of that experience focused on SAP systems and data center infrastructure.
  • Demonstrated expertise in AWS and GCP services (examples: EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Compute Engine, Cloud Storage).
  • In‑depth knowledge of system monitoring principles, tools, and methodologies specific to data centers.
  • Deep proficiency in Kubernetes container orchestration (cluster management, networking) and understanding of SAP workload requirements for hybrid deployments.
  • Experience with SAP solutions (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA) and their integration with cloud platforms and data center environments.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, design, and documentation skills to translate technical concepts for stakeholders and produce architecture artifacts.
  • Preferred: AWS or GCP Solutions Architect certification.
  • Preferred: experience with other container platforms (Docker Swarm, Mesos) and hands‑on CI/CD pipeline design and implementation.
