Description

  • Develop engineering solutions and explain technologies to customers.
  • Gather requirements and propose hardware, software, engineering, and business continuity solutions.
  • Provide recommendations on solution viability, implementation strategy, and optimal deployment approaches.
  • Design system configurations and scalable solutions for data center, LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls, compute, and storage environments.
  • Design and assess on-premise to cloud migration solutions, including optimization, workflows, process changes, and level of effort.
  • Develop business continuity and disaster recovery solutions and assist with BCDR plan creation.
  • Prepare statements of work, level of effort estimates, and bills of materials for projects.
  • Evaluate emerging network technologies and recommend system design enhancements as needed.
  • Provide oversight for configuration, installation, maintenance, documentation, and delivery team continuity.
  • Train deployment and field engineers on on-site deployment and troubleshooting.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in cloud networking, network security, hypervisors, Azure WAF, BCDR, SAN, storage, and enterprise technology programs.
  • 8+ years of experience with enterprise-level design and deployment of hypervisors and associated networking, SAN, NAS, and BCDR components.
  • 5+ years of experience with Azure IaaS, including migrations and optimizations.
  • 5+ years of experience with cloud networking services.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related technical or business area, or equivalent proven work history and experience.
  • Experience with VMware and Hyper-V virtualization platforms.
  • Experience with Datto and Veeam backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies, including APIC, Nexus, Catalyst, and ISE/Catalyst Center.
  • Proficiency with routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, MP-BGP, and IS-IS.
  • Current Cisco data networking certifications such as CCNP, CCDP, or CCIE are strongly preferred.
  • Broadcom VMware sales and technical certification is preferred.
  • Microsoft Certified: AZ-800/801 or AZ-802 is preferred.
  • Datto Kaseya Certified Expert (KCE) is preferred.
  • Veeam VMCE+ certification is preferred.
  • Global Financial Services, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, or Managed Service experience is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to work full-time, 40 hours per week, with occasional overtime and less than 10% travel.
  • English language proficiency is required.
