Description

  • Collaborate in a self-organizing, cross-functional product team with engineers, product managers, team leaders, marketing, and support.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable applications primarily using Effect-TS and Node.js.
  • Apply engineering practices including automated testing, code reviews, pair programming, and ownership of production operations.
  • Automate cloud services and configuration management for scalability, operational efficiency, and cost optimization.
  • Contribute to product strategy, ideation, design, development, release, and maintenance.
  • Identify and champion improvements to products, engineering processes, and team practices.
  • Work directly with support teams and customers to gather feedback and improve products.
  • Mentor teammates and help shape the team’s technical culture.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience delivering multiple scalable, high-volume cloud applications.
  • Proficiency in full-stack JavaScript or TypeScript development.
  • Strong understanding of modern cloud architectures and practical implementation experience.
  • Deep architectural knowledge of web applications, including performance, quality, and security.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms, computational complexity, and object-oriented programming.
  • Product-oriented mindset with the ability to influence product decisions.
  • Willingness and ability to mentor team members and shape team culture.
  • English proficiency at CEFR B2 level or higher.
  • Experience with Effect.js and Express.js is preferred.
  • Experience with Atlassian Forge, Jira, Jira Service Management, AI models, or tools such as Cursor is preferred.
