Description

  • Manage and expand Regulated Verticals customer accounts to protect and grow Twilio’s communications business.
  • Develop, drive, and execute account strategy to consistently deliver strong revenue, gross margin, and gross profit results.
  • Partner closely with product, finance, support, and operations teams to identify and pursue new revenue opportunities within assigned accounts.
  • Serve on and coordinate cross-functional account teams to align on customer solutions and escalate customer needs internally.
  • Run disciplined forecasting, maintain an accurate sales pipeline in Salesforce, and present guidance to executive management.
  • Lead highly consultative, analytical sales cycles with large/global customers, performing deep discovery and championing the customer’s point of view.
  • Consistently achieve sales goals and financial targets while monitoring industry changes and sharing best practices with peers.
  • Drive relationship management, cross-sells, upsells, and solutions consulting for assigned accounts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of total sales experience with a minimum of 3 years in major account or strategic sales.
  • Expertise managing or leading quantitative, highly analytical products and solutions and an entrepreneurial mindset to define processes and build programs.
  • Accountability for relationship management, cross-sells, upsells, and solutions consulting while influencing both business and highly technical leaders.
  • Experience using data to develop analytical account strategies and prove value, plus a demonstrated track record managing forecasts and financial models.
  • Proven record of delivering revenue and gross profit results for large-scale and enterprise customers.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Desired: deep experience with telecom companies (CPaaS, SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms).
  • Desired: domain expertise from highly quantitative industries (DevOps, Fintech, advertising optimization, investment banking, security, or commodity trading).
  • Desired: experience selling software/SaaS/CPaaS/PaaS and related enterprise solutions; willingness to travel approximately 30% and work remotely within eligible locations (role is not eligible to be hired in CA, CT, IL, MA, MD, NJ, NY, OR, PA, RI, TX, VA, WA, or Washington DC).
