Description

  • Manage and strategically expand relationships with high-tech customer accounts.
  • Develop and execute account strategies to deliver revenue, gross margin, and gross profit growth across the portfolio.
  • Drive the full sales process from prospecting through deal closure and launch.
  • Run consultative sales cycles with deep discovery of customer needs and business priorities.
  • Translate customer technical requirements into Twilio communications API solutions for specific use cases.
  • Communicate effectively with developers, managers, executives, and other stakeholders across customer organizations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, finance, partners, support, and services.
  • Maintain disciplined forecasting and provide guidance to executive management.

Requirements

  • 5 years of sales experience, including at least 1 year in major account or strategic sales.
  • Track record of selling complex technical solutions.
  • Experience owning net revenue retention, growth, relationship management, cross-sells, upsells, and solutions consulting.
  • Ability to work with both business and highly technical leaders and build supportive partnerships.
  • Analytical account development approach using data to identify opportunities and prove value.
  • Consistent history of exceeding quota.
  • Experience managing business forecasts and financial models.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to define processes and build programs.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Gong, Outreach, LinkedIn SalesNav, Looker, Tableau, and G-Suite, including proficiency in Google Sheets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience.
  • Experience selling API-based solutions (preferred).
  • Experience with telecom companies, SMS aggregators, carriers, or global communications platforms such as CPaaS or PaaS (preferred).
  • Domain expertise in a highly quantitative industry such as DevOps, fintech, advertising optimization, investment banking, security, or commodity trading (preferred).
  • Experience selling software, SaaS, CPaaS, or PaaS solutions (preferred).
  • Remote role based in the USA.
  • Approximately 15% travel required.
