Description

  • Build and deploy LLM-powered applications and agent-based workflows that reduce manual work across the company.
  • Design multi-step production AI pipelines, including tool use, RAG, and structured outputs.
  • Integrate AI workflows with existing systems through REST APIs, webhooks, and custom integrations.
  • Develop and maintain automation pipelines.
  • Own deployment and management of AI workflows and applications on Vercel and cloud platforms.
  • Build and maintain supporting infrastructure such as cloud-based agents, serverless functions, and related services.
  • Design reliable systems with logging, error handling, alerting, and monitoring.
  • Manage secrets, environment configurations, and deployment pipelines across environments.
  • Serve as the technical point person for teams building AI-powered workflows and applications.
  • Debug, unblock, and escalate complex AI and systems issues across the company.
  • Translate business needs into technical requirements and actionable solutions.
  • Proactively audit AI systems for reliability, inefficiency, and improvement opportunities.
  • Step in to define, scope, and drive AI initiatives when no PM is assigned.
  • Document systems thoroughly so they can be operated confidently.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or systems engineering with hands-on AI/ML experience.
  • Strong foundation as a software, systems, or DevOps engineer who has grown into AI.
  • Experience deploying and managing production applications on Vercel, AWS, GCP, or equivalent platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with LLMs, generative AI, and orchestration tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, or LangChain.
  • Proven REST API integration experience with strong edge-case handling.
  • Experience building or maintaining cloud-based agents and serverless infrastructure.
  • Strong Python and/or JavaScript/Node.js skills with production-grade code quality.
  • Solid understanding of deployment pipelines, CI/CD, environment management, and secrets handling.
  • Experience with vector databases and embedding-based retrieval.
  • Comfort working with AWS and/or GCP and cloud-native application patterns.
  • Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting for production systems.
  • Highly autonomous and able to identify problems and ship solutions independently.
  • Effective communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong product instincts and ability to own initiatives without a PM.
  • Calm under pressure and able to support blocked teams quickly.
  • Ability to work across multiple teams and problem domains simultaneously.
  • Bonus: experience with AI agent frameworks.
  • Bonus: background in high-volume performance advertising, media, or creative production.
  • Bonus: experience with AI in production.
  • Bonus: multi-step agentic pipeline design or large-scale workflow orchestration.
  • Bonus: experience with data pipelines or BI tooling.

  • Compensation of $70,000–$120,000 for remote roles or $110,000–$160,000 for Los Angeles-based roles.
