Description

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of software engineers delivering project-based professional services.
  • Gather system requirements from end-users, IT teams, and stakeholders for integrations.
  • Customize ServiceNow applications and support rollout of ITOM-related modules, including CMDB and Discovery.
  • Configure integrations between ServiceNow and other applications using REST and SOAP web services.
  • Implement flow designer, business rules, scripting, integrations, and logic solutions.
  • Work with technical SMEs to gather environment information and support service map and event work.
  • Validate impact assessment rules, service maps, and event management outputs with stakeholders.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing for maps, impact rules, and event management work.
  • Promote update sets and data across ServiceNow environments.
  • Remediate production incidents and maintain operational documentation and SOPs.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience supporting ServiceNow implementation, administration, configuration, and/or development in ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Mid Servers).
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with other systems using mid servers and cloud-to-cloud approaches.
  • Experience with bi-directional, automated integrations between two systems.
  • Experience with data extraction technologies such as JDBC and ODBC, or ETL integrations.
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Builder, Scripted REST APIs, and Script Includes.
  • Ability to create technical design documents and user documentation.
  • A four-year undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • Willingness to continue education through ServiceNow competency certifications and module accreditations.
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL Foundation, ServiceNow CSA, and ServiceNow CAD.
