Description

  • Serve as the primary on-call resource for off-hours monitoring and support of fulfillment operations systems and integrations.
  • Monitor system health, operational workflows, and production alerts during scheduled on-call hours.
  • Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents using runbooks and established procedures.
  • Investigate issues across logs, databases, APIs, and application code to determine root cause.
  • Perform debugging and log analysis to isolate failures quickly.
  • Document incident findings, resolutions, and recurring issues to improve future response.
  • Escalate high-severity incidents with clear summaries, impact assessments, and recommended next steps.
  • Develop and maintain small Python scripts and automation tools.
  • Support low-risk enhancements, bug fixes, and routine maintenance for fulfillment applications.
  • Partner with engineering teams to improve system reliability, monitoring, and support documentation.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering or systems support, preferably with WMS/OMS or similar systems.
  • Experience supporting fulfillment, warehouse, and supply chain systems and processes.
  • Intermediate Python proficiency.
  • Intermediate SQL skills for investigation and data analysis.
  • Experience working with JSON APIs.
  • Experience troubleshooting production applications.
  • Ability to investigate issues using logs, databases, and application code.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Experience using Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Experience with Docker (preferred).
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting platforms (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (preferred).
  • Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot (preferred).
  • Must be able to work Mon-Fri 3pm-11pm EST after a one-month training period, with every other weekend on call.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no work visa sponsorship is provided.
