Description

  • Provide support for global network infrastructure, including monitoring, alert management, patching, upgrades, and tuning.
  • Plan, coordinate, and implement network maintenance activities and performance optimizations.
  • Manage core network technologies, including Cisco Meraki switches and wireless access points, Palo Alto firewalls, GlobalProtect VPN, and Portnox.
  • Monitor network gear and SaaS services, and perform initial triage for network and platform issues.
  • Manage ticket queues, tickets, and escalations.
  • Lead the setup and configuration of network infrastructure for new office sites.
  • Serve as an escalation point for complex troubleshooting and collaborate with team members and office stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, runbooks, and support templates.
  • Work rotating shifts in a 24x5 support model and participate in weekend on-call coverage.
  • Respond to escalations outside scheduled shifts when required.

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience supporting network infrastructure in a global enterprise environment.
  • Solid understanding of network infrastructure and monitoring principles.
  • Proven experience setting up and configuring new office sites.
  • Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto, GlobalProtect VPN, and Portnox.
  • Experience managing ticket queues, tickets, and escalations.
  • Experience with IT operations management (ITOM) software that monitors network devices, servers, and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with globally dispersed teams and stakeholders.
  • Flexibility to cover shifts in a 24x5 operation with on-call rotation.
  • Reliable internet access when working remotely.
  • BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CCNA, or CCNP (preferred).
  • Previous experience in a support or NOC environment (preferred).
  • Experience scripting and automating network tasks (preferred).
  • Experience leveraging AI technologies to assist in the role (preferred).
  • Bias for action and strong problem-solving skills (preferred).
