Description

  • Direct daily cybersecurity operations across multiple technical workstreams.
  • Coordinate priorities across incident response, vulnerability management, RMF, engineering, ISSO, policy, and continuous monitoring teams.
  • Lead recurring operational meetings, status reviews, backlog reviews, and action item tracking.
  • Maintain the Integrated Master Schedule and coordinate program deliverables.
  • Monitor service delivery, staffing, workload balance, and operational performance.
  • Track risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies and coordinate mitigation efforts.
  • Prepare recurring reports, metrics, dashboards, and executive briefings on schedule.
  • Coordinate onboarding, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness during contract transition and program execution.
  • Serve as the operational escalation point for cross-functional issues.
  • Support Government leadership through operational reviews and governance meetings.
  • Drive continuous process improvement to improve workflow coordination and efficiency.
  • Coordinate surge support during major incidents, vulnerability response activities, or emerging operational needs.
  • Partner with the Program Manager to meet contractual commitments, performance metrics, and customer expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Approximately 5+ years of experience leading cybersecurity operations, security programs, or enterprise IT operations.
  • Experience managing cross-functional technical teams supporting Federal customers.
  • Experience coordinating multiple concurrent workstreams with competing priorities.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity operations, vulnerability management, RMF, incident response, or security engineering programs.
  • Experience developing executive status reports, operational dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience supporting Federal cybersecurity programs operating under FISMA or NIST guidance.
  • Experience supporting NIH, HHS, or other Federal civilian agencies (preferred).
  • Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity operations centers or integrated cyber programs (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) programs (preferred).
  • Experience coordinating RMF lifecycle activities and continuous monitoring efforts (preferred).
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, Microsoft Project, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar platforms (preferred).
  • PMP, CAPM, ITIL Foundation or higher, CISSP, CISM, Security+, or CGRC certification preferred.
