Description

  • Design and own the end-to-end architecture for the fleet cascading and optimization platform.
  • Define cloud-native microservices patterns on AWS using services such as ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, and SNS/SQS.
  • Architect the data platform, including Snowflake, S3 data lake architecture with Apache Iceberg, and real-time CDC, ETL, and ELT pipelines.
  • Design the ML platform architecture, including SageMaker pipelines, Feature Store, Model Registry, and Bedrock integration for generative AI.
  • Lead integration strategy for enterprise systems such as Hexagon, Salesforce, and JD Edwards using APIs, CDC, and ETL patterns.
  • Drive technical decisions related to security, scalability, compliance, and data residency requirements.
  • Collaborate with engineering, data science, and business stakeholders on architecture and implementation decisions.
  • Establish infrastructure as code and delivery practices using Terraform or CloudFormation, CI/CD pipelines, and GitOps.
  • Define and support enterprise security controls such as IAM, SSO, KMS, Secrets Manager, and WAF.
  • Support observability and cost optimization across the platform using monitoring and AWS cost management tools.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including 4+ years in architecture-focused roles.
  • AWS Solutions Architect certification, with Professional level preferred.
  • Proven experience working with enterprise-scale distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS architecture services including VPC, ECS/Fargate, API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SNS/SQS, ALB, and CloudFront.
  • Strong knowledge of Snowflake architecture, RBAC/ABAC, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with S3 Data Lake, Apache Iceberg, and CDC patterns such as DMS and Debezium.
  • Experience with IAM, enterprise SSO, KMS, Secrets Manager, and WAF.
  • Understanding of SOC 2 controls and data residency requirements.
  • Proficiency with Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines with tools such as CodePipeline or GitHub Actions and applying GitOps practices.
  • Preferred experience with SageMaker Pipelines, Feature Store, Model Monitor, Endpoints, Bedrock, and MLOps patterns.
  • Preferred experience with REST/GraphQL API design, OpenAPI 3.0, asynchronous messaging, saga patterns, and circuit breakers.
  • Preferred experience with CloudWatch, X-Ray, OpenTelemetry, APM dashboards, and AWS cost optimization tools such as Trusted Advisor and Cost Explorer.
