Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs with OData integration for efficient querying and data retrieval.
  • Implement OData-based endpoints that expose data from multiple sources through HTTP requests.
  • Work with Entity Framework to create, update, and query data models and improve database interactions.
  • Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries for relational databases.
  • Participate in the design of scalable, high-performance API and backend architectures.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with best practices and company standards.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver features on time.
  • Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues, bugs, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Stay current with .NET, OData, Entity Framework, and SQL practices and apply improvements to reliability and scalability.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in .NET C# development focused on APIs and web services.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and consuming OData APIs.
  • Experience using Entity Framework to map data models to database schemas and work with relational databases.
  • Strong ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API principles and technologies such as JSON, HTTP, and Web API frameworks.
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git or SVN.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills with a focus on performance and reliability.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS for hosting and scaling web applications (preferred).
  • Experience writing unit tests with NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit (preferred).
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems (preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing (preferred).
  • Experience with SignalR or similar technologies for real-time applications (preferred).
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus or other enterprise messaging platforms (preferred).
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture, messaging patterns, and asynchronous processing workflows (preferred).
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT to improve productivity, code quality, testing, and documentation (preferred).
