Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python frameworks such as FastAPI or Django.
  • Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices for enterprise applications.
  • Implement business logic, workflow orchestration, and service integrations.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Collaborate with frontend developers, product teams, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions.
  • Design secure, well-documented APIs and integrate third-party systems and external services.
  • Handle API versioning, error handling, throttling, monitoring, and technical documentation.
  • Analyze and validate data from internal and external sources to support robust API solutions.
  • Develop authentication and authorization solutions using OAuth2, JWT, RBAC, and SSO where applicable.
  • Write unit tests, integration tests, and API test suites, and support CI/CD and deployment automation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of Python programming experience preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with FastAPI (preferred) or Django / Django REST Framework.
  • Experience designing and developing REST APIs and backend services.
  • Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts, including OAuth2, JWT, and RBAC.
  • Strong SQL skills and database design experience.
  • Experience integrating external systems through APIs.
  • Knowledge of Pandas and NumPy is preferred.
  • Knowledge of data validation and transformation techniques, microservices architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
