Description

Write client code that is performant, testable, scalable, secure, and high quality.
Ensure code security through Software Composition Analysis (SCA) and drive remediation efforts.
Provide accurate status tracking, reporting, and estimation using project methods and tools.
Gather requirements, validate understanding with the team, and maintain documentation.
Execute work within the current methodology and uphold quality standards.
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and managers to identify user pain points and improve solutions.
Own projects from technical design through successful launch.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.

Requirements

At least 8+ years of experience with Python, REST APIs, and SQL.
Experience with Git source control tools such as GitHub or GitLab.
Experience with unit testing using Pytest.
Intermediate design proficiency using UML, C4, or ArchiMate.
Experience engineering software systems of medium-to-large scope and complexity.
Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies.
Proficiency with relational databases.
Experience building frontend and backend applications at scale.
Proficiency in English.
Knowledge of Python web frameworks such as Flask (preferred).
Knowledge of workflow orchestration platforms such as Apache Airflow or Automic Automation (preferred).
Knowledge of Python package management tools such as UV or Conda (preferred).
Knowledge of HTTP, JSON, and XML (preferred).
Knowledge of SCA platforms such as GitHub Advanced Security, Snyk, or Checkmarx (preferred).
Understanding of AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Copilot, or Cursor (preferred).
Understanding of the software development life cycle (preferred).
Proficiency in object-oriented programming concepts (preferred).
