Description

  • Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs with OData integration for efficient querying and data retrieval.
  • Implement OData endpoints to expose and manipulate data from multiple sources over HTTP.
  • Work with Entity Framework to create, update, and query data models for efficient database interactions.
  • Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries for relational databases.
  • Participate in system design and architecture for scalable, high-performance API and backend solutions.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code aligned with best practices and company standards.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver features on time.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve bugs, technical issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Stay current with .NET, OData, Entity Framework, and SQL developments and apply improvements to reliability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in .NET C# development, with a focus on APIs and web services.
  • Hands-on experience implementing and consuming OData APIs.
  • Experience using Entity Framework to map data models to database schemas and work with relational databases.
  • Strong ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for relational databases such as SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
  • Familiarity with RESTful API principles, JSON, HTTP, and Web API frameworks.
  • Experience using version control systems such as Git or SVN.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and performance optimization skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is preferred.
  • Experience writing unit tests with NUnit, MSTest, or xUnit is preferred.
  • Understanding of microservices architecture is preferred.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing is preferred.
  • Experience with SignalR or similar real-time communication technologies is preferred.
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus or other enterprise messaging platforms is preferred.
  • Understanding of event-driven architecture, messaging patterns, and distributed system design principles is preferred.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or ChatGPT is preferred.
